every now and again, a song comes along in which lyrically, captures emotions so perfectly... this ballad from Gotye is something I can't stop playing over and over again... love how music can be so cathartic.

ooh la la
I love this little short, of a french film. It just embodies everything I love about Paris and why I will live there one day very soon.... record players, muted tones, roof top loft apartments, the effortlessly cool customers, old architecture, bare pebble parks, tattooed men, and sensual kisses. And of course, the style: “The shoe thing was a reference to when I was a kid in the 80s; people used to steal expensive cool loafers,” Saraiva explains. “In America they used to steal your Air Jordans; in France they would steal J.M. Westons.”

benny & the jets
A lazy sunday afternoon at the cricketers, sipping on bloody mary's, decompressing from another nocturnal weekend... listening to some old dog spin classic psychedelic rock on vinyl, drops a live recording of this gem into the mix. Reminded me of what a musical genius Elton is, this clip is just a testament to his talent, and kooky nature; the kid looks like a leprechaun! Long live The Soul Train.
